Designer, strategist,
problem solver.
I'm Tiia Sahni, a senior UX and product designer based in Westchester, NY. For over a decade I've been contracted directly with Fortune 500 companies — to untangle complex enterprise systems and redesign them into experiences that actually work for the people who use them every day. My work spans healthcare, financial services, media, logistics, CPG, and AI — and my approach is the same across all of them: understand the problem deeply before touching a pixel, then design with clarity, rigor, and real users in mind.
How I work
I come in when things are complicated — two business units that need to be unified, a platform that hasn't kept pace with how its users actually work, a cutting-edge AI system that only specialists can operate. My job is to find the clarity underneath the complexity.
I work across the full design process: research and discovery, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, testing, and design system work. I'm equally comfortable facilitating OOUX workshops, collaborating with a chief ontologist on AI workflows, or redesigning a Salesforce portal component by component.
I believe good design is invisible — it gets people where they need to go without making them think about the interface itself.
What drives me
The work I'm most proud of is the kind where the people who use the product every day — the insurance agent, the media scheduler, the field rep — genuinely have an easier day because of what I designed. That's the measure that matters.
I'm drawn to problems where the stakes are real: healthcare communications that affect patient outcomes, media delivery platforms where a missed window has consequences, forecasting tools that drive millions in purchasing decisions.
I also bring a systems perspective — I think about how objects, flows, and states connect before I think about screens. It makes the designs more durable and the developer handoffs smoother.
