AI-Metadata-Factory, an early use of AI used to assist medical diagnostics
MY ROLE: Lead UX/UI Product Designer
For ReactiveCore AI-MetadataFactory, my challenge was understanding the technologies with ontologies and content enough to be able to translate it into a logical, simplified, step-by-step user journey and intelligent, effortless UI. I achieved this working closely with the product owner and chief engineer. Creating paper wireframes to help define the content and the basic user journey, I iterated these with the product manager/engineer. Once we had a clearly defined task flow, with tasks done by a knowledge engineer, I wanted to simplify and make it as intuitive as possible, using fewer workspaces and having a clear step-by-step process so that a less skilled admin could also follow it. I created a UI prototype, which relied on a simple, logical step-by-step process of markups from the original client file to achieve an OWL file and visualize that for additional information for medical diagnostics.
RESULTS: When tested, the prototype was loved by the users. But it remained waiting for additional funding for a build.
